“Sorrow Carves the Canyons that Hold Your Joy!”
…Sunday, September 23rd, 6—10 pm
In some cultures, grieving helps us become fully alive. We can grieve our own losses (loved ones, childhoods, dreams), the losses of our family and ancestors, for the collective and for the earth. If you have ANYTHING to grieve, the loss of a loved one, the state of immigrant rights, the treatment of sister earth, come be a part of a space that holds an exquisite container of your sadness, rage and pain. Facilitated by Josh Fox. A $30—$60 donation requested at the door, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Please bring a water bottle, cushions for sitting, pictures of people/things you have lost and anything you wish to add to an ancestor altar. Please arrive promptly as we will close the doors when we begin. A Jubilee! Community Life event.
