Growing older but not up: curiosity

BULLETIN August 9, 2015

“Well,” says God, “a man is a flawed creature. Often full of himself for no reason. He can be arrogant and self-admiring. He likes to hunt and kill things and do silly stuff like kicking a ball around or even watching others kick a ball around. He’s kind of worthless, but he’ll keep you company and it should keep you from getting bored.”

“Sounds OK, I guess,” says Eve. “Is there a catch?”

“Just this one,” says God. “Since he’s so proud and conceited, you just tell him I made him first. It’ll be our little secret. You know, woman-to-woman.”
