Meet
up with fellow jubilants
If you’d
like to get to know other Jubilants on a more social level,
the Meetup group may be just what you’re looking for.
This project of the Community Life Team is an effort to help
Jubilants find ways to gather informally outside of Jubilee!
(think hikes, movie outings, musing about spirituality or
politics).

Frequently
Asked Questions
What
is Meetup.com?
Meetup.com is a website that allows any affinity group or
association to create events and activities.
What
is the point of the Jubilee Community Meetup Group?
This is an initiative of the Community Life Team. The team's
mission is to give Jubilants opportunities to socialize and
get to know each other outside of the weekly celebrations
and official Jubilee! events.
What
is a Meetup.com profile?
Before you can join a Meetup.com group, you must create a
Meetup profile. This just has your name and email address,
along with a password that you create.
When
I try to join the Jubilee Community Meetup Group, it tells
me that I need to contact the organizer for an invitation.
Why is that?
This is because the group is private and for the use of Jubilants
only. To join, you simply need to know the password. Community
Life Facilitator, Carol Pimentel, or anyone at the welcome
table can give you the password.
Who
will see my profile?
The Jubilee Community Meetup Group is a private Meetup group
which means that only other members of the Jubilee Community
who are registered at Meetup.com will be able to see your
profile. We're hoping that everyone will put their whole name
in and also post a picture. That will go a long way toward
the goal of giving us all a chance to get to know each other
better.
