Members of this team recognize that our outward journey is shaped to a large degree by the quality of our inner journey. They encourage team bonding and interpersonal nurturing through a variety of activities and rituals at the meetings. They sponsor events for the Jubilee! Community that speak to the excitement, adventure and inspiration of an authentic spiritual path: Speakers (Matthew Fox, Gregg Levoy, Robert Moss); Book studies ( The Power of Now; Living Buddha; Living Christ; I Will Not Die an Unlived Life ) and interactive experiences (Dancing the Divine, an African Grief Ritual, Women's Support Group). They also administer the Tape Library on Sunday at Jubilee! They are a vibrant group that believes that “living deeply” is a great adventure!

The Spiritual Journey Team focuses on both inner journeys and outer journeys.  We plan and provide to the Jubilee! Community experiential and inspirational classes, workshops, and field trips, as well as nurture and support each other with the intention of deepening our understanding and expression of Creation Spirituality.

The intention of team members is to grow both individually and as a group, as we use our own spiritual journeys to generate and sponsor events.  This past year we sponsored one-time and ongoing events such as Dancing the Divine, an African Grief Ritual, Welcome Home (a women's support group), and The Gnostic Matrix.  From time to time, the University of Creation Spirituality has teachers in Asheville with whom we sponsor workshops.

Periodically, we meet as a team for weekly book study and to share our inner journey.  Recently we read and shared around the books I Will Not Die an Unlived Life, Living Buddha, Living Christ, and Let Your Life Speak.  We have also explored other faith traditions by attending various services in the area. 

The team staffs the tape library, which is open each Sunday morning between services, from which members can check out tapes, videos, and CD's on a wide variety of topics.

Team sharing meetings are potluck feasts generally occurring from 6-8:30 PM on the fourth Tuesday of each month where we meditate, share, listen, pray, and laugh.    We invite you to consider whether this team could be a place for you to deepen your spiritual journey at Jubilee!
