Body Image/Body Wisdom Series for Women with Jackie Dobrinska
…Six Tuesdays, starting July 10th from 6:30 to 8:30 pm
Change the way you see, not the way you look.  Imagine if we as women took just SOME of the time, money and energy we spend on obsessing over and changing our bodies and appearance, and instead put it toward our passions, creative endeavors, and passing fancies. We might unleash the internalized corset and recover something powerful, profound, wild and free. This series is NOT asking you to change ANYTHING! (Not what you love, what you hate or what you do. That’s the whole problem to begin with.) Instead this is a series of authentic conversations with women for women to explore topics we often don’t talk about: Media Culture: today and through time; Body Shapes, Sizes & Parts: love ’em, hate ’em, livin’ with ’em;  Eating Food: restricting, binging, nourishment, guilt, pleasure;  Getting Old: sags, greys, wisdom, wrinkles, regret, freedom;  Cycles: pregnancy, pms, transformation, power; Sensuality: empowered, disembodied, approval, trade, magic.   Sign up with Jackie or visit ASimpleVibrantLife.com for more information.

Men’s Lives: Tuning In Deep
…Six Tuesdays, starting July 10 at 6:30 pm
Men’s Lives is a weekly group where men can go to feel a sense of brotherhood and tribe, and this new series is different from any you’ve seen before. We will merge two powerful worlds into one profound experience, by playing music together, and using this fuel of connection to dive in deep and get real, talking about things that matter to us, and share what’s really happening in our lives. Each session, we will be joined by a special guest music-maker who will give his take on what music is and how to play in a group. Get ready to learn and grow in this unique setting while receiving some honest feedback on being a better man, a better musician, and to take a good look inside to see where your values and your life meet.  $5-$10 donation suggested, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Instruments will be provided, voices only are very welcome. Men with little or no experience at playing music together are highly encouraged to attend and help break down the belief that there are “musicians” and “non-musicians.” This group is hosted every week by life coach and music lover Jon Handelman. Jon will help guide and conduct introductory musicians and will facilitate the group discussion and sharing.
