Body Image/Body Wisdom Series for Women
…Mondays, July 22nd – August 19th, 6—8:30 pm
When sleeping women wake, mountains move. One of the things that can keep women asleep is shame around our bodies. Wise women, shamans, entrepreneurs, leaders, and influencers often share common struggles around accepting their bodies. Now is the time to reclaim our bodies and their wisdom regardless of shape, weight, or size. This series is for every woman who wants to love her body, is learning to love her body or already loves her body. For women only. Email Jackie at [email protected] for details. Please sign up on the clipboard in the Hospitality Room.

Welcome New Board Members Jenny, Patrick & Elizabeth
Three new Board Members began their service commitment on July 1st. They are Jenny Farthing, Patrick Fitzsimmons and Elizabeth Likis. The fourth member of the Class of 2022 is Stefanie Beierschmitt who came to the Board last year to complete the term of a member who needed to resign. In the last edition of this newsletter we shared information about Jenny Farthing. In this edition, we will focus on Patrick Fitzsimmons who is the CEO of Mountain Bizworks and a member of Weaverville City Council. Patrick has attended Jubilee! since approximately 2007, has served on our Board previously and has been a regular attender for most of those years. When asked about the gifts he brings to the Board, Patrick replied, “I am a organizational change agent, and have helped several organizations through periods of renewal and leadership change. I am strong at financial management, team development, vision focusing and monitoring for progress. I believe that I am good at gently but firmly holding people accountable. I am an optimist who is also a problem solver. If I think it can be fixed, we will fix it.”
