Are You Ready for This Year’s Election?
We are fortunate to live in a democracy where we can participate in making decisions about how our government works.  One vital part is voting, and to do so, we need to take the opportunity to register and vote.  Significant changes are now in place which require people to have an acceptable photo ID to vote this fall.  If you want to check your registration, register to vote, or have questions about voting, there will be people between our celebrations on many Sundays starting July 24th in the Hospitality Room until the Sunday before Election Day, November 8th.  If you are interested in assisting with this effort, either at Jubilee! or the general community, contact Jubilant Ron Katz at 768-4559.

Four New Board Members Selected
This month we are saying hello to four new persons who began their three-year terms on July 1st.  The four new members are Barbara Brady, Fred Racey, Ray Raymond and David Robertson. Each brings unique gifts to share. In the June 10th edition of Vision, we shared information about Barbara, in the June 24 edition we featured Fred Racey and in the July 8 edition we wrote about Ray Raymond. In this edition, we are featuring  David Robertson, our fourth and final member.

David Robertson—I was active at Jubilee! from its infancy at Central United Methodist Church and remained active once we moved to Wall Street for about ten years. That is, until life led me to explore broader horizons. About two years ago, I began attending services again and last year volunteered to “herd cats” as the leader of the Spiritual Journey Team.

In terms of my skills/talents, I am a real estate broker and also hold a Ph.D. in Ro-Hun trans-personal therapy. I work with individuals from around the world, within their many dogmas and belief systems, assisting them to recover from their illusions of separation.

I believe that I would find it enjoyable to work with a group of people whose intention and focus is to keep the main thing, the main thing. I see my role as assisting the community to ever expanding awareness of and varied expressions of the truth that we are one, and that acts of love are what allow us to remain mindful of that oneness.
