Care Within Our Jubilee! Community
…January 26th, 1:30 – 3 pm at Jubilee!
Are you part of the Care & Compassion team? Do you want to be? The Care & Compassion Team is a network of Jubilants who jump in when a fellow Jubilant is in need: experiencing short or long-term health issues, medical or other emergencies. We help with simple things–providing meals, basic housekeeping, child/elder care, shopping and errands, transportation to and from doctors’ appointments, and compassionate companionship. All Jubilant’s are invited to serve in this ministry and grow our network of connection and care. If you are already a member or want to be, then join us for our FIRST QUARTERLY Social. We will have donuts, fruit & coffee, get to know each other, play games, and discuss ways to support each other and this community. Questions: email Jackie at [email protected].

Imbolc Ritual & Celebration
…Sunday, February 2nd at 2:30 pm
Imbolc is the Celtic Holiday that is halfway between the winter solstice and spring equinox – when winter has lasted a bit too long and we look to the groundhog to see how much longer we have to endure. In ancient Europe, this was the time of year when resources were running low and we didn’t know if we would survive. In this darkness the ewe’s lamb, offering a shared life-giving source of subsistence. So we learn from them and during Imbolc, we learn to say yes to life even when it’s dark. Join us for a life-giving Imbolc Ritual, led by Jackie and others.
At Jubilee! We Believe in Sacred Reciprocity
Sacred Reciprocity: As you give, you receive. When you pledge your support it means that you want to commit to helping this amazing Community exist into the future. You make a pledge, telling us how much you plan to give to Jubilee! in 2020. With your pledges, we are then able to set our budget for the year — to pay our staff, provide helpful and supportive programs, and keep our facilities operational. We cannot operate without your pledge. So please, help keep the main thing the main thing and pledge your support to Jubilee! this year by completing your pledge card. We will be setting our 2020 budget on Monday evening, January 27th.
