Via Negativa – Gratitude Despacio

Gratitude relates to our ability to express thankfulness and appreciation, and has been shown again and again to have the ability to change our lives. A Despacio is a prayer bundle and offering…an expression of gratitude to heal, restore balance and create harmony where it is off.  We will come together to engage this ancient earth-based practice, offer our gratitude to what is alive in our lives and world, and steep our intentions for this upcoming Thanksgiving Season with the power of thanks! Join Jubilee! Minister (and Wise Woman Practitioner) Jackie Dobrinska. Sliding scale $10-$20 and no one turned away for lack of funds.

Giving to the Baskets or the Bowls
…Do You Know the Difference?
At Jubilee! you have two opportunities to share your wealth!  During our opening song, you are asked to place money in the baskets on our circular Altar.  100% of these dollars are earmarked for non-profit organizations that assist folks in need – organizations like Homeward Bound, Pisgah Legal, MANNA Food Bank, Meals on Wheels, Emma Family Resource Center and ten others. Thus far, these baskets have generated over $36,000. Then, following the meditation, we “pass the bowls.”  The money contributed through the bowls (and online as well) goes toward Jubilee! to fund operations, salaries and additional outreach giving – to be sure that Jubilee! is around to offer the ministries you have come to count on.  So…please feel free to support both the Baskets and the Bowls.  Both are “doing” good!

The Door Will Be Locked|
Our Patton Avenue door will be locked between 10 am and 10:45 am on Sundays for the security of our children. If you need access to Jubilee! during that time, just walk around to our Wall Street entrance. Please do not bang on the door. It will not be answered as our Nurture staff will be busy working with our children.
