Coffee, Conversation & a Gentle Stroll
…Sunday, November 11th at 10:45 am & 12:30 pm
Many of us believe that building a sense of shared community is among the most important goals of Jubilee!  The Earth Team thinks building community is enhanced when folks work on a shared goal and, with the Board’s approval, Jubilee! is going to work towards becoming a Zero Waste Congregation.  Our Kickoff for this collective effort will be Sunday, November 11th when Earth Team members Chas Jansen and Mollie Milner will host a compostable cup coffee/tea gathering in the Hospitality Room. We hope you will schedule a bit of time after the service to chat and connect with us and your fellow congregants over this effort. If the weather cooperates, we also plan to gather after the second celebration at the UNCA Botanical Gardens off W. T. Weaver Blvd. for a nice stroll and additional community building conversations.  Please plan to join us.

Sunday, November 18th is Thanksgiving & Commitment Sunday
Bring your Thankful Spirit and your Commitment Card indicating your desire to support the ministries of Jubilee! Community in 2019.  Commitment Cards have been mailed to Jubilants, but if you do not receive your card in the mail, no problem!  We will have extras in the bulletins, on the Communion Table, in the Hospitality Room and at the Welcome Table.  In this season of giving thanks, we want you to know how grateful we are to you for your commitment to and support of Jubilee!  Oh, Yeah!

Do You Have a Favorite Jubilee! Moment, Memory or Story?
Come share that story and help create new ones on Sunday, …November 18th at 4:30 pm at Jubilee!
Something that made you laugh, cry, or feel a little better?  Or something in your life that stemmed from or was inspired by Jubilee!?  Would you like to gather with other Jubilants to share stories? Better yet, what if those stories were immediately turned into a piece of improvisational theatre that would have all of us laughing and crying and feeling a little better together? You’ll have your chance on Sunday, November 18th. Don’t miss this opportunity, led by Daniel Barber and Jessica Chilton from the Transition Team, to share treasured memories and create new ones. A $10 suggested donation is asked, all of which will go to the Jubilee! Hunger fund. But, please note that no one will be turned away for any reason.

Sunday, November 11th at 11 am
The Next Generation (for Jubiliants in the 20′ – 40’s age range) is getting together for brunch after the early service.  Meet at Mojo Kitchen (55 College St, Asheville).  Pay for whatever you eat/drink. Kid friendly. Invite your other non-Jubiliant friends too! Message Stefanie at 828 450-6141 or just show up!

Small, but Mighty!
We held our fall Clean Up on Saturday morning, November 3rd. These  folks shared their time and effort to spruce up our place: Ray Raymond, John Busse, Doug Sherry, Paul Muller, Genevieve Fortuna, Ron Katz, Lauren Fortuna, Louisa Marshall and Sarah Genevieve Marshall.  Windows were washed, baseboards dusted, sidewalks swept, exit lights and signs checked, kitchen cleaned, and so much more.  By utilizing volunteer labor, Jubilee! is able to make our “hard to come by” dollars go even further. Thanks, workers!

Full Moon Labyrinth Walk
Friday, November 23rd at 9 pm
