Do You Talk to God? …Or Are You the Silent Type? Maybe God Isn’t Even on Your Radar!
Some people knit or paint; others walk and dance. We can’t forget chanting and panting, meditating andcontemplating, or just playing the bazooka! So many paths of reverence leading us to what? Spirit? God? Creative Force? Bozo the Clown? Lots of questions, multiple answers, numerous life experiences and rich stories…That’s where you come in.
This Fall, Community Choreography Projects, directed by Jubilant Barrie Barton, will offer “Talking to God,” an artistic exploration, collaboration and presentation workshop about if and how we connect with the great mystery. And if you don’t talk to God or don’t believe in God, join the conversation too. Multiple points of view makes for some very juicy art! The Workshop runs Monday evenings, September 14th through November 16th from 6 to 8 pm at Jubilee!. Class will not be held on Monday, October 5th. The workshop will conclude with a presentation on Sunday, November 22nd atJubilee!. Registration begins Monday, August 10th. Contact Barrie Barton at [email protected] or (828) 712-9654.
